Personal Data We Collect

We only collect data that helps us achieve the purpose set out in this Privacy Policy. We will not collect any additional data beyond the data listed below without notifying you first.

Data Collected Automatically

– monitoring and producing statistical information regarding the use of the Andau services and analysing and improving their functionality;

– purchasing maintaining, and claiming against our insurance policies;
– managing the proposed sale, restricting, transfer or merging of any or all part(s) of our business, including to responding to queries from prospective buyers or merging organizations.

4. Marketing:

– managing, planning, and delivering our business and marketing strategies;
– sending you information about similar and/or related products and services;
– sending you marketing communications;
– analyzing how our marketing communications are used by you;
– conducting surveys for benchmarking, continuous improvement, and marketing purposes.

Who We Share Personal Data With

We only share personal information with other parties if this is necessary for the purposes described above, you have given us your consent, or we are obliged to do so by law.

1. Recipients who are not Affiliates – we have relationships with various companies who help us operate our business and who may need access to your personal information for doing so, including the following: IT service providers, customer support providers, marketing service providers, social media platforms, business partners and joint ventures, professional advisors and consultants (ie. legal counsel), and insurers. We may also have the obligation to share your personal information with government authorities, and courts. If we decide to reorganize or divest our business through sale, merger, or acquisition, we may share personal information about you with actual or prospective buyers.

2. Affiliates of Andau – Andau has a number of Affiliates, and each Affiliate may work with other Affiliates for business and operational purposes. Personal information is only shared with other Affiliates if we have a legal basis for doing so and if this is necessary for one of the purposes described above. Andau and its Affiliates have concluded a group-wide agreement on the handling of personal information for this purpose.

3. Other recipients – we also share your personal information with other recipients if you ask us to do so. For example, if you are a potential dental patient who is searching on our websites for doctors with particular expertise, we will share the contact details you provide with a dental provider with the necessary expertise to facilitate setting up an appointment.

Other Disclosures

We will not sell or share your data with other third parties, except in the following cases:

1. If the law requires it;
2. If it is required for any legal proceeding;
3. To prove or protect our legal rights; and
4. To buyers or potential buyers of this company in the event that we seek to sell the company.

Do you have to provide your personal information to us?

We may ask you to provide certain personal information to us. You are not required to provide us with your personal information. However, if you choose not to do so, we may not be able to enter into or continue a business relationship with you/your organization or to provide you with marketing communications.

How Long We Store Personal Data

User data will be stored until the purpose the data was collected for has been achieved. In particular, we set our retention periods carefully under consideration of different general principles, including the following:

1. Whether we are obliged to keep your personal information (ie. for tax purposes);
2. Whether you have asked us to stop using or instructed to keep your personal information;

How We Protect Your Personal Data

In order to protect your security, we use the strongest available browser encryption and store all of our data on servers in secure facilities. All data is only accessible to our employees. Our employees are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and a breach of this agreement would result in the employee’s termination.

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that user data is secure and that users are protected, there always remains the risk of harm. The Internet as a whole can be insecure at times and therefore, we are unable to guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.

Children

We do not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 years of age, the personal data will be deleted as soon as possible. If a child under 13 years of age has provided us with personal data, their parent or guardian may contact our privacy officer.
